• How much money you make is directly linked to how educated you are. According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, high school dropouts typically earn $18,900 on annual basis, while high school graduates earn $25,900. That number increases to $45,400 for college students.
• Only 15% of GED recipients who go to college earn a degree, compared to 65% of those who went with a high school diploma.
