Beyond the Classroom

Life Skills helps students outside the classroom by supplying them with resources to help them find jobs or pursue a higher education. In addition to several job fairs and college fairs hosted throughout the year, our Vocational Specialist will:

• work with students to create resumes
• give interview tips & help practice
• help students seek out real-life work experience
• provide counseling for students close to graduation who are considering pursuing a degree in higher education. This includes help with finding grants and scholarships, filling out the FAFSA, and general college research.
